This is a tileset featuring some nice pictures of wild animals. All images I used are public domain and I’m releasing this tileset as public domain. You can do whatever you want with it( credits are not required but if you want to share this tileset in your page or if you want to use it in a game a link to this page would be nice ).
Animals Tiles
This is the second post where I try to revive old tilesets which are not online anymore. Those are tiles created by Christie Ward created many years ago a few quality tilesets for kyodai mahjong and shared them on vikinganswerlady.com; the site went down but I still had her tiles on my computer.
In a previous post published the Viking Mahjong Tiles. In this post, I’m adding 4 quality tiles based on Tarot Cards.
The first one is based on symbols from Rider-Waite tarot deck; The deck was published in 1910 and is one of the most popular tarot decks in English speaking countries:
The second set is similar to the first one, but the original background in tarot cards is removed from the tiles:
The thirst set is based on Morgan-Greer Tarot Deck, which is a border-less variation of Waite-Smith Tarot:
The forth set is not a real tarot cards, it is based on the Xena: Warrior Princess series, the images are selected to be similar to the ones in the original tarot cards. It’s a nice idea:
There are a few more mahjong tiles created by the Viking Girl, which I’m going to publish in a future post.
Those are tiles created by Christie Ward(at vikinganswerlady.com, her page went down, but luckily, I was able to recover the tiles from my computer). You can see the tiles in action, in the following screenshot and they look quite good:
This site is dedicated to one of the best mahjongg games, Kyodai Mahjongg. I’m not affiliated in any way with Kyodai Mahjong or with the company which created the game(except being their fan of course).
I’m going to share here the tilesets and layouts I’ve created to give them a second life instead a leaving them idle on my hdd to disappear someday. You can find here links and other resources I found useful. Maybe someday I’ll add a section with Tips & Tricks and tutorials.
All the materials I share on the website are free to use if not specified otherwise. You are free to download them and use them in the game. You are not allowed to sell them or to pretend you created them. If you want to distribute them, dropping the link to this website would be nice.
